When I was growing up pizza rolls were a microwave delight, however I can only imagine what’s in them. As we are entering football season I have been looking for some easy snacks with ingredients that can be kept around for a while. These “grown up pizza rolls” which I saw on Pinterest seemed perfect. These only need four ingredients: a can of crescent rolls, Mozzarella string cheese, pepperoni, and pizza sauce. Also as an added bonus they are quick to make (~20 minutes) and clean up (only the one pan/Silpat)!

Start with a cookie sheet, preferably with a Silpat. The Silpat makes clean up so much easier.

Separate each of the crescent rolls, and cover with a layer of pepperoni. Then place half a cheesestick on the flat edge.

Bake for about 15 minutes at 350*, until golden brown. The cheese tends to ooze out when it melts, and the Silpat makes it a breeze for cleanup.
